NJ Car Show 09

On Saturday May 16, we ventured out on a road trip to Raceway Park.

We first stopped at our Hotel for some R&R. Daddy and Katelyn wrestle on the comfy bed, before we headed off to the car show.

Boy oh boy we finally made it to Englishtown, NJ after almost 2 hours in the car. Now first of all Raceway Park is only 15 minutes from our hotel, but we got lost then someone gave us ready bad directions and we ended up way off course about an hour, so then we had to back track. It was horrible poor Katelyn was screaming I just wanted to get there.

Then we stopped to ask some kids for directions and he looked it up on google on his phone, and we were off got stuck in traffic but finally were headed in the right direction!!

Katelyn was sooo cute walking all over the place and Daddy took every opportunity to take a picture with his little lady.

And I just had to take a picture of this b/c Danny calls Katelyn "Show Stoppa!"

I finally got in on the action, Katelyn and I played while Daddy watched the Drifting event.

The car show was great and we stopped to check out the scenery on the way home. It was beautiful you could see for miles!!!

Drummer Girl!

Here is one of Katelyn's new treasures I got at the tag sale. I think she's a very good drummer, don't ya think?

Tag Sales!

Mommy got Katelyn up bright and early to hit a few tag sales before the rain comes.



To my surprise no rain but great deals. I got everything, I repeat EVERYTHING for $32. This is the Little Tikes Garden Playset I got for Katelyn to play with when Mommy is gardening.

I also got some other things a Fisher Price Fishing Rod Set(which I so had to get so she can go fishing with Grampy), a drum, pull along Telephone, and some books.

Here is some other books I got, the Dictionary is really neat cuz it is interactive, you wave the pen over a word and it defines and pronounces the word for you.

And I just couldn't pass up Blue from "Blue's Clues!" Katelyn's absolute favorite show. I also got a pocket book and a stroller cup holder. And again all this for only $32.

Katelyn loves her new toys and I have a feeling we'll be getting alot of use out of them. I guess it's true what they said "One man's junk is another man's treasure!"

All that banging on the drum got Katelyn very tired and hungry. Well today was a very active day and I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings.

Sooo Much to tell...

Katelyn is doing sooo many things now!! Just this morning when she woke up she said, "Mama, Baby!!!" With her arms stretched out so sweet, man my heart just belted.

Where ever we go, Walmart, K-Mart, the Mall she runs around like a lunatic pulling everything she can get her hands on off the shelves. The worst is the card section at Stop and Shop. Fun Fun Fun!!!!

I hope this stinky weather goes aways and brings us some sunshine!!! Tomorrow is a new day and I will definitely have new pictures.
